AN ANGLESEY ELOPEMENT: COASTAL PLACES TO SAY “I DO” ON THE ISLAND

An Anglesey elopement gives you the sea on almost every side. The island has sheltered bays, wide dunes and wild headlands, so you can find a setting that feels completely yours.

I'm Leon, an accredited celebrant and photographer based in Llandudno, just across the Menai Strait. Here are places on the island worth considering.

Rhoscolyn

Quiet coves and clifftop paths make Rhoscolyn feel tucked away. It is lovely for couples who want a short walk to somewhere secluded.

Porth Dafarch

A small sandy bay near Trearddur, with rocks either side that frame the sea beautifully. Easy access makes it a good choice if you have loved ones with you.

Aberffraw

Wide dunes and a long, open beach give you room to wander. The soft light here towards the end of the day is something special.

Penmon Point

At the eastern tip of the island, with Trwyn Du lighthouse just offshore and Puffin Island beyond, Penmon feels wild and peaceful at the same time.

Church Bay

On the north-west coast, Church Bay is known for its sunsets and its small, sheltered beach.

Planning Your Island Day

Tides, wind and seasonal crowds all shape the best spot and time. I take care of location scouting, and private chauffeuring is included in both packages, so you can simply enjoy the journey.

Packages

The Signature is £3,250 and the Ultimate is £4,950 on the packages page. Both include a year of The Love Story Collection, and the Ultimate adds a free Twilight Ceremonies Renewal of Vows, while the Signature gives 15% off Twilight. Proposal couples from Where Two Bloom receive 10% off, and eloping by the sea in North Wales has more coastal ideas.

Anywhere You Choose

Anglesey is close to home, but you can choose anywhere: home, your garden, elsewhere in the UK or abroad.

Salt air, open skies and your vows said by the sea make an island elopement unforgettable. Enquire about your elopement and tell me which corner of Anglesey is calling you.
