ELOPEMENT CEREMONY IDEAS: PERSONAL TOUCHES FOR YOUR BESPOKE CEREMONY

Elopement ceremony ideas start with one simple truth: with no crowd to entertain, every word can be about the two of you. A small ceremony leaves room for the personal touches a big day often squeezes out.

I'm Leon, an accredited celebrant and photographer based in Llandudno. Both Elope with Leon packages include a bespoke personalised ceremony, recorded on video and audio, so here are the ideas couples love most.

Tell Your Story

A heartfelt ceremony crafted around your relationship, your story and the promises you want to make is at the core of every package. How you met, the hard years and the funny moments all belong. Why your elopement ceremony script is written from scratch explains how.

Write Your Own Promises

Your vows can be short or long, serious or playful. How to write your elopement vows has a simple way in.

Tie the Knot

Handfasting suits an outdoor ceremony beautifully, with a cord wrapped around your joined hands. Handfasting at your elopement covers it in full.

Read Letters to Each Other

Some couples write a private letter and read it aloud during the ceremony. When you read your opening speeches and vows, I slide out of frame and photograph those delicate moments.

Include Your Closest Few

We keep it as small as possible, and kids and dogs are welcome. A child could hold the rings, or your dog could sit at your feet.

Choose a Setting With Meaning

The lakeshore at Llyn Dinas, the dunes at Newborough or the hills above Llangollen each set a different mood. You can also choose anywhere: home, your garden, elsewhere in the UK or abroad.

Keep the Words

Your ceremony script and certification go home in a presentation box, part of the keepsakes in both packages.

The Packages

The Signature starts at £3,250 and the Ultimate at £4,950, each with photography that lasts as long as your experience, on the packages page. Proposal couples from Where Two Bloom receive 10% off.

A ceremony shaped around you will feel like yours for the rest of your lives. Enquire about your elopement and tell me the story you want told.
