How do you make an elopement special when there is no big reception, no first dance in front of a crowd and no speeches? You fill the day with the small things that only matter to the two of you.
I'm Leon, an accredited celebrant and photographer based in Llandudno. These are the touches I see making the biggest difference on elopement days across North Wales.
A Ceremony Written From Scratch
The heart of the day is the ceremony, so it should sound like you. I write every script around your story, never from a template. Why your elopement ceremony script is written from scratch explains how we build it together.
Letters to Read in Private
Write each other a letter and read it somewhere quiet before the ceremony. I step back while you read, so the words stay between you.
A Place That Already Means Something
A famous viewpoint is lovely, but a place with a memory is better. That might be the beach at Llandudno where you first walked together, a lake in the Conwy Valley or a quiet hill near Llangollen.
Time to Simply Be Together
Leave space in the day for a walk, a picnic or a sit on a rock with a view. With private chauffeuring by me, you are not watching the clock or the satnav, and the photographs come from real moments rather than poses.
Keepsakes You Can Hold
Polaroids develop in your hands on the day, and your ceremony script comes home in a presentation box. Later, your photographs join your Love Story Album, which can carry forward to a sunset anniversary at Twilight Ceremonies.
The People Who Make It Yours
Just the two of you, or your closest few, kept as small as possible. Kids and dogs are welcome.
Special Anywhere
North Wales gives you Eryri, Anglesey and the Llŷn, but you can choose anywhere, including home, your garden, elsewhere in the UK or abroad.
Special is personal, and every detail can be shaped around you. See the packages to see what is included, then book a call to start shaping yours.
