The Scottish Highlands: vast glens, lochs and remote light. Scotland also has its own marriage rules, so check them early.
The Lake District: lakes and fells with a gentle, storybook feel, and busy in high season.
Cornwall: cliffs, coves and blue water, with long travel times for many couples.

Places to Start in North Wales

The Legal Side
In Wales, a celebrant-led ceremony is not legally binding by itself, so most couples complete the legal part at a register office. It is simpler than it sounds, as is eloping legal in Wales explains.
